Hey guys! I'm Michelle. I probably met some of you at the mini summit last month, but for those of you who I didn't get a chance to hang out with, I'm excited to sometime in the future! 

Seeing as how we're all in this Catalyst thing together, here's some stuff you should know about me:

1. I was named after the Beatles song "Michelle".

2. Please, don't ever ever ever call me Shelly. That's just a no go. 

3. I'm go to college at the Art Institutes International Minnesota for my Advertising degree

4. I'm not super artsy fartsy, even though I go to an art school.

5. I have boyfriend named Jeremiah. He loves biking, computers and CANDY. lots of candy. 

6. I have 2 cats. Harbor and Kitten. Harbor has way too many toes and Kitten's super fat. 

7. I live on the 8th floor of a really tall apartment, even though I'm kinda scared of heights...

8. However, I'm TERRIFIED of the ocean...and squid...gross.

9. I'm really excited to be a part of Catalyst, and wish I would have known about it sooner! I would definitely have been involved in high school. 

10. I'm passionate about tobacco control and rights of nonsmokers because tobacco has had a huge negative impact on my family, and I believe people have the right to know the truth, breathe easily and live health lifestyles. 

11. I just went to my first Catalyst event last month, the Mini Summit, and had a BLAST!

12. I drive a wicked sweet white 1996 Honda Accord, and I sport a "I <3 Minneapolis Farmer's Market" bumper sticker.In the summer, I love going to the Farmer's Market and getting tons of fresh fruits and veggies for cheap. They're deeelicious! 

13. I love telling stories and laughing really hard at almost anything...I'm easily amused :)

14. I'm excited to learn more about healthy eating and spreading that knowledge to you guys and the people in my life, because I think eating the right foods and taking care of your body are super important.

15. I love biking around the city and going to Loring Park. I feed the squirrels old bread and this old crazy lady feeds the pigeons. We make a good team.

16. I ask a ton of questions because I love learning new things, 

And there you go! That's me, Michelle, in a nutshell. Ha, I wasn't even trying to rhyme, but I guess you just get lucky sometimes.
