Hey everybody, I’d like you to meet Catalyst’s new friend, Kick the Can!  Kick the Can, which wants to give “the boot” to sugary drinks, is a nationwide home base for beverage advocacy programs.  The website includes soda facts, great graphics, soda’s link to the obesity epidemic, advocacy tools, videos from campaigns across the country, and ways you can take action to expose the link between sugar-sweetened beverages and the obesity epidemic.  Kick the Can has a map of all the beverage advocacy projects around the nation, and Catalyst made the map!  You can also find our videos in their video resource page.  Pretty cool, huh?

If you want to learn more about the dangers of sugar-sweetened beverages, actions exposing them all across the country, and how you can get involved, you should definitely check out Kickthecan.info.  It is an awesome site, so get involved!

P.S. You can play Kick the Can on facebook and sign a petition asking the beverage industry to be a part of solving the obesity epidemic.  I did!  Go for it!
