The 2010 Catalyst Summit is in the books, and it was fantastic. Thanks to everyone who came, helped put it on, and made a really fantastic event. The youth board did a fantastic job planning and training at the summit, and went over sessions like Food Marketing, Catalyst Cooking, and Food Myths. Here are some photo's from the event, and the terribly awesome video we made.

Obesity and inactivity kill 407,000 people every year in the country according to a 2006 CDC study. 

At the 2010 Catalyst Summit, our youth board devised an idea to illustrate the problem of obesity in the US. They wanted to make a giant human bar graph with participants from the summit and then make a video of the project. We thought it was basically the sweetest idea ever. So here is our video. Thanks to all the participants, it was a fantastic project!
