What else should we know about you?
I am the program director here at Catalyst, so I manage the day to day activities. I can certainly help you with pretty much anything you'd need to know.
I first got involved in public health policy right before Minnesota sued the tobacco industry when I was about 12. I've been involved in some capacity either locally or nationally ever since. I graduated from Mounds View High School, and attended the University of Minnesota. I work for Community Blueprint. The company who runs Catalyst.

I'm no food scientest, but the more I look at the above image, the less it looks like a carrot. But apparently the U.S. Congress think it does. Congress just sent a clear message that protecting the food industry is more important to them than protecting children's health. Congress passed an Agriculture spending bill that weakens the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) ability to implement strong, common-sense standards for school meals. As a result...

Andy, Sad news the kids that I had planned on bringing are leaving on a mission trip a few days after this so their parents said next year...I was so looking forward to coming! Catalyst is one of the few good youth programs...I will keep looking online for future opportunities!! Thanks so much, Dawn

Im going to St.Cloud State University. Im going for nursing, which surprised a few of my friends because of my medical past, but oh well, better to surprise than to be dull :-)
